Mr. Roy Lee Davis age 70 of Rustburg, died on Saturday, July 14, 2018 in Lynchburg. He was the son of the late Henry Davis and Elizabeth Miller Davis. He was the husband of Maxine Lyte Davis.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Elizabeth Davis; three brothers, Authur, Wallace and Howard Davis.

He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Maxine L. Davis, of the residence; one daughter, Kendra R. Williams (Shawnta) of Lynchburg; one grandson, Jamari Williams of Lynchburg; one sister, Katie Smith of Rustburg; one brother, Randolph Davis of Hawaii; one uncle, Joe Miller (Estell) of Nathalie; one aunt, Corrine Hubbard of Nathalie; two sisters-in-law, Frances Moorman of Gladys and Charlotte Davis of Rustburg; one brother-in-law, Edward Lyte, Jr. of Lynchburg; devoted nieces, Pam, Marvena, and Genise; devoted great nephews, Cordell, James, Charles and Rhoderick, Jr.; other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; devoted family, Kent and Sandra Pugh of Rustburg; and a host of other relatives and friends.
