Mr. Roy Wayne DeJarnette, age 76 of Brookneal, passed away on January 27, 2023 in Brookneal. He was the son of the late Hunter Patterson DeJarnette and Edna O'Donnell DeJarnette.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Anne Mason; and brother-in-law, Emmitt Mason "Pop".

He is survived by his nephew, L.H. Mason (Hope); niece, Cathy Mason (Kevin); great nephews, Colton, Alex, and Mason; great nieces, Alyssa, and Courtney; great great nephew, Hunter Wayne; and a host of other relatives and friends.
