Mrs. Ruby Hamlett Elam, age 95 of Brookneal, entered into eternal rest on March 18, 2012. She was married to the late Mr. Robert Elam. She is survived by six children, Helen Price (George), Larry Elam (Betty), and Joyce Evans, all of Brookneal, Frank of Virginia, Luchildress Elam (Iris) of Georgia, and Frances Palmer (Peter) of Philadelphia, PA; sixteen grandchildren; forty-five great grandchildren; thirty-eight great great grandchildren; one great great great grandchild; and a host of cousin and friends.
