Mr. Russell Foster, age 91 of Randolph, passed away on June 26, 2023 in Lynchburg. He was the son of the George Nathan Foster and Mollie Bell Freeman Foster.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lona; two sons, Jerome and Jeffrey.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted daughter, Lisa Hamlette (Donald) of Madison Heights; two sons, Jonathan Foster (Hilda) of Randolph and Jerry Foster (Linda) of Saxe; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; one brother, Ralph E. Foster (Barbara) of Randolph; one daughter-in-law, Pauline Foster of Richmond; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
