Mr. Russell Lee Lockett, age 73 of Saxe, entered into eternal rest on May 10, 2025 at his residence. He was the son of the late Deacon Richard Lockett and Mrs. Annie Currin Lockett.  He was married to the late Mrs. Sylvia Randolph Lockett.

In addition to his parents, Russell was preceded in death by his wife and two sisters, Carol Poole and Maurice Dent.

Russell is survived by his daughters, Kamara Terry (Michael) and Krystle Lockett, both of Manassas, VA; his beloved grandson, Mikey Terry; sisters, Clarice Foster (Upper Marlboro, MD), Odelia Isaacs (Washington, DC), and Bernadine Johnson (Saxe, VA); nephews, Antron Dent (Desirae), Christian Poole (Erica), Michael Poole (Rebecca) and Ryan Lockett-Goode; nieces, Karen Graves, Athelia Doggette, Kim Johnson, Erin Johnson and Stephanie Isaacs; brothers-in-law, William Randolph and John Johnson; one cherished sister-in-law, Delores Randolph; and a host of loving relatives and friends.
