Mrs. Sallie Frances Bedford Watson, age 76 of Meherrin, passed away on July 10, 2026, at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Anderson Bedford and Nettie Womack Bedford Grigsby.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories of her loving husband, William A. Watson, Sr. of Meherrin, Virginia; her daughter, Yolanda A. Bedford Rawlings of Richmond, Virginia; her son, William A. Watson, Jr. of Meherrin, Virginia; two granddaughters, Kanisha (Derek) Gaines of Charlotte Court House, Virginia, and Alisha Randolph of Meherrin, Virginia; four great-grandchildren, Jayden, Damien, Aniyah, and Amir; her sister, Evelyn Bedford of Baltimore, Maryland; sisters-in-law, Barbara Bedford Tines, Rosa Bedford, Eunice Bedford, and Linda Watson; brother-in-law, June Cox; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
