Sarah Frances Chambers, age 70, passed away at her residence in Pamplin on January 23, 2024.  She was the second daughter of the late Walter Earl and Leonie Wooldridge Carter.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Towana "Pooh" Chambers; her sister, Madelyn C. Davis;  fiancé, George Bland; and devoted friend, Ruby Miller.

Her memory remains and love lives on in the heart of her son, Tyron (Katina) Chambers; two grandchildren, Christian Moore and Tyvon Chambers; mother-in-law, Mrs. Odell Chambers; three brothers-in-law, Charlie (Donna) Davis, Milton (Frances) Chambers and Eugene Chambers; one sister-in-law, Viola (Clinton) Shaw; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
