Mr. Sean Booker, age 49 of Altavista, passed away on October 8, 2024.  He was the son of Mr. Finley Brown and Ms. Clara Booker.

He was reared in Irvington, New Jersey where he graduated from Irvington High School.  Sean was baptized at the age of six at Peaceful Zion Baptist Church in East Orange, New Jersey.

Sean never met a stranger.  He had a pleasant personality and had many friends.  He enjoyed working on vintage trucks and cars.  He would restore them for resale.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Samuel and Anita Brown; his maternal grandparents, Miller and Annie Booker; and a host of aunts and uncles.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Clara Booker of West Orange, NJ; his father, Finley Brown of Linden, NJ; three brothers, Derick, Terrance, and Antonio Brown; one play brother, Clive Caines; one sister goddaughter, Yolanda Wallace; aunts, Carolyn Booker Willard (Alex), Gwendolyn Weaver, and Bertie Washington; the children of the late Eugene Booker, Mildred Booker Stevens, and Gloria Booker Oakley; other relatives and friends.
