Shannon David West, age 50 of Brookneal, passed away on April 23, 2024 in Lynchburg. He was the son of the late Clem Allen West and Linda Delois Harvey West.

He is survived by daughter, Kyla Denae West of Appomattox; grandson, Makari Legend of Appomattox; sisters, Felicia and Tiffany West, both of Lynchburg; nephew, Kyron of Lynchburg; niece, Abria of Lynchburg; aunts, Evelyn Womble of Baltimore, MD, and Ruth West of Willingboro, New Jersey; uncle, Earl Harvey (Vernessa) of Lynchburg and G. Bruce Harvey (Alicia) of Roosevelt, NY; god-father, Adolphus "Butch" Barley; cousin/sister, Lakevas Harvey; special friends, Erica Robertson, Mark Wilkes and the Band of Brothers; and a host of other relatives and friends.
