Sharon Kay Moreland, age 62 of Altavista, Virginia passed away on August 12, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Cora Mays Mathews "Becky" and the late Charlie William Mathews "Dick" of Amherst County.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a niece, Natasha Arnold.

She is survived by two brothers, Charlie W. Mathews, Jr. and Richard Mathews (April); one sister, Betty Arnold (Dale); and her very close companion, Larry Smith, and friend, Barry Smith.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August, 24, 2024 at Beulah Church Cemetery, 2554 Stapleton Road, Madison Heights, Virginia with Pastor Dewayne Carson, officiating. Condolences may be expressed at www.JeffressFuneralHome.com .
