Mr. Shaun Walker Lewis Barksdale, age 40 of Lynchburg, passed away on January 30, 2021.  He was born April 20, 1980 to Barbara Lewis Campbell and Robert Franklin Barksdale.

He professed the Lord at an early age. He was attending Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church in Appomattox.  He was a former member of Greenspring Baptist Church in Brookneal, Va.

In his earlier years, out of high school, he was employed by Jeffress at the Printing Plus shop. Shaun worked as an electricians' helper with Dove electrical and then became barber by trade and has been employed with Choppers Barber for about 17 years. His passion was music and playing drums.  He also liked to DJ.  He played drums for Greenspring, Hat Creek Baptist Church, Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church, and he was the drummer for the Gospel group Brothers in Christ!  He never met a stranger.  He was loved by everyone he met.

Shaun leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Barbara Campbell; father, Robert (Brenda) Barksdale; step-father, Charles Campbell; girlfriend, Lakeshia Hurt; his daughter, Shanae Barksdale (his heart); grandparents, Hildred and Willie Lawson of Nathalie, Va., George S. Lewis of Baltimore, Md., and Clara and Roosevelt Barksdale of Nathalie, Va.
