Mrs. Shirley Ogden Hudson, age 82 of Lynchburg, passed away on August 30, 2022 in Lynchburg. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Earlie B. Ogden and Mrs. Ruby Frances Davis Ogden.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John Ogden, Allen R. Ogden and James L. Ogden, Sr; sister-in-law, Ann Ogden;  and nephew-in-law, Darrell Hudson.

She is survived by her son, John A. Hudson (Wendy) of Gladys; three grandchildren, Chad Hudson of Massachusetts, Aiden Hudson and Jordan Hudson, both of Gladys; two great-grandchildren, Faith Hudson and Hope Hudson of Massachusetts; brother, Thurman E. Ogden, (Sandra) of Lynchburg; nieces, Shirley Ogden and Shelby Slate (Scott), both of Adams Center, NY, Sherry Ogden-Hudson of Lynchburg and Kerry Ogden (Mike) of Gladys; nephew, Jimmy Ogden (Crystal) of Lynchburg; and a host of great nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
