Mrs. Shirley Moon Mitchell, age 69 of Gladys, entered into eternal rest on October 7, 2022 at her residence.  She was born on January 10, 1953 and was the daughter of the late Mr. William Berman Moon and Mrs. Erma Hamlett Moon.

She was a member of Lynch Station Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Mr. William "Bill" Watkins Mitchell of the home; two children, Neil Mitchell (Michelle) of Concord and Jennifer Singleton (Chris) of Gladys; three grandchildren, Tyler Mitchell, Logan Singleton, and Olivia Singleton; one brother-in-law, Spurgeon Sublett; one aunt, Joyce Austin; one uncle, Butch Hamlett; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Sublett.
