Mr. Ralph Terrell Bell, age 64 of Long Island, passed away on July 4, 2023 in Lynchburg. He was the son of the late Wesley Bell and Ruby Thacker Bell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Matthew Bell; three brothers, Tim Bell, William Bell,  and Joe Bell.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Bell of Brookneal; two children, Christopher Bell (Elena)  of Brookneal, and Mark Bell of Hurt; two step-children, Mary Saunders of Chase City and Eben Tuck and Lynchburg; five grandchildren, Austin Bell, Christian East, Aryeanna Bell, Alexander Bell and Christina Sams;  two great grandchildren; five sisters, Cathy Fincham, Sandy Bell, Thressa Bailey, Patsy Mitchell and Ginger Tweedy; brother, Jerry Bell; brother-in-law, Otey Kelly; four aunts and uncles; sixteen nieces and nephews (two preceded in death); numerous cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
