Ms. Thelma Virginia "Jenny" Spencer, age 94 of Charlotte Court House, passed away on November 28, 2021, at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Rice Spencer and Gracie Snead Cabell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth Spencer, Hazel S. Thompson, Nora B. Randolph; four brothers, Matthew "Molly" Spencer, Samuel "Zack" Spencer, Carl "Cat Butter" Spencer, and William "Billy" Spencer; grandson, George Russell Ferrell.

Jenny leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Mary C. Ferrell of Keysville; four grandchildren, Ruth Elsie Bailey, and Rosa Friend, both of Drakes Branch, Darlene F. Walton (Robert C.) of Phenix and Michael H. Ferrell (Kassandra Dailey) of Meherrin; eleven great-grandchildren; thirty-nine great-great-grandchildren; two great-great-great-grandchildren; sister, Gladys Spencer Morton of Richmond; one brother-in-law, Douglas Randolph of Charlotte Court House; her special kitten whom she called her church cat, but later named her "Kelly"; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
