Mr. Thomas Wesley Jones, Jr., also known as "Joe" age 74 of Phenix, passed away on March 7, 2020 at his residence. He was the son of the late Mr. Thomas Wesley Jones, Sr. and Mrs. Bessie Broggin Jones.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Mrs. Bettie T. Jones of the home; two children, Ricky Jones (Maricca) of Rustburg and Pamela Adams (Eddie) of Nathalie; five grandchildren, LaSheckaAnn Marshall (Marcus) of Richmond, Akeem Jones (fiance' Khadijah) of Chatham, Calanda Hancock of Lynchburg, Tyses Evans of Red House and Jasamine Emanuel of Rustburg; five great-grandchildren,; one sister, Mary Baker of Appomattox; one brother, Alfonza Jones (Sandra) of Roanoke; one brother-in-law, Earnest Thomas (Cordelia) of Phenix; one sister-in-law, Ada Mae Coleman of Appomattox; his special little buddy, Zyi'mere Skates; and a host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
