Vernice Scott Yuille, age 63 of Gladys, passed away on May 8, 2024 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Sterling Harrison Yuille and Thelma Lee DeJarnette Yuille.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, William H. Yuille; and a beautiful niece, TShana Yuille.

Vernice leaves to cherish her memories, six children, Alfonzia Yuille (Laketra) of Farmville, Dominic Yuille of South Carolina, Rodell Yuille (Lindsey) of Rustburg, Ozell Yuille (Whitney) of Gladys, Shuntel Lee and Tammie Lee, both of Gladys; twenty-one grandchildren, Alijah, Christian, Aniya, Jaden, Cierra, DJ, Nico, Jeremya, Brysiin, Aryanna, Micah, Baby Jaxon, Jace, Amir, Jessa, Julian, Kaiden, Zavien, Kyrah, Kali, and Keiland; four sisters, Isabell Pannell of Naruna, Homasel Dunkley and Wynola Yuille (George), both of Gladys, and Thelma "Lavern" Ward (Ronald) of Lynchburg; five brothers, Eugene Yuille (Brenda) of Gladys, Larry Yuille (Valerie) of Nathalie, Vincent Yuille (Rebecca) of Texas, Ozell Yuille (Maria) and Christopher Yuille (Veretta), both of Gladys; she also leaves behind the love of her life, devoted companion of 35 years, Rodney Lee; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
