Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt, Virginia W. Cook of Nathalie departed this life on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at her home, at the age of 77.
Virginia was a member of the Christian Tabernacle Baptist Church. She enjoyed most of all, cooking, fellowshipping and praising the Lord. Virginia loved reading her bible, praying for and with others. She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother and friend. "To know her was to love her."
She was the daughter of the late Charlie B. Wilson, Sr. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charlie B. Wilson, Jr. and sister, Evelyn Wilson.
She is survived by her husband, Jessie Cook of the home; her daughter, Jacqueline Coleman (Graham) of Alton; her son, Othie L. Tucker, Jr. of South Boston; granddaughter, Tamikia Davis-Brown (Josh) of South Boston; three great-grandsons, Kobe, Isaiah, and Josiah; her mother, Estell Miller (Joe) of Nathalie; five sisters, Mildred Easley (George) of Nathalie, Jearline Robins (George) of Norfolk, Zondie Pauling (Wesley) of Fayetteville, NC, Ruth Bowman of Brookneal, and Angela Chalmers (Bishop James) of Chatham; two brothers, Quintin Wilson of Dallas, Texas and Swannie Miller of Nathalie; a devoted goddaughter, Sheila Gilliam; and a host of other relatives and friends.
