Virginia "Gin" Smith Davis, formerly of Concord, moved peacefully into her Savior's arms, surrounded by family in Madison Heights, Virginia on June 14, 2022. She was born on March 23, 1934 to the late Patrick and Dorothy Smith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Oscar Davis; a son, James Davis; two daughters, Delois Jennings and Sharon Clark; two sisters, Sarah White and Elizabeth Cooke; and one brother, "Billy" Smith.

She is survived by three children, Roy Davis, Concord, Minister Saundra Smith (Wallace) of Madison Heights and Betty Payne (Thomas) of Rustburg; eighteen grandchildren; fifty-nine great grandchildren; and eighteen great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Patrick (Nita) Smith,  and Karoy Smith (Deborah); one aunt, Mollie Pennix; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
