Ms. Vivian Elvira McCargo, age 66 of Drakes Branch, passed away on August 31, 2022 in Phenix. She was the daughter of the late John Thomas Royal McCargo and Lillie Pauline Andrews McCargo.

In addition to her parents, Vivian is preceded in death by her sisters, Frances Eubanks and Pattie McCargo; and brother, John Jerome McCargo, Sr.

She leaves to cherish her beautiful memories and inspiring voice, a devoted family, her son, Jawon McCargo (LaKercia) of Red House, VA; daughters, Nikisha Carter (Charles) of Crewe, VA, and Tiffany Henry (Jason) of Rustburg, VA; grandchildren, Kahlil, Zymirah, Genesis, and Jase; siblings, Gale Williams of Burkeville, VA, Hillary McCargo, Sr. (Carolyn), of Keysville, VA, Bernadine Garner of Clarksville, VA, Charlene Whitehead (Wayne) of Keysville, VA, Andrea Callahan of Virginia Beach, VA, Veronica Cummings (Randy) of Lumberton, NC; sister-in-law, Joan McCargo of Keysville; a host of nieces, nephews, one whom she loved like her son, Demarco Andrews, a sister, cousin and friend, Carolyn Austin, extended family and friends.
