Vivian Dalton Pringle passed away in her sleep on January 20, 2026, at the Lynchburg Rehabilitation Center and Nursing Home in Lynchburg, VA, at the age of 83.  She was born November 22, 1942, to the late Mrs. Emma Yuille and the late Mr. Charlie Milton Dalton.

In addition to her parents. she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sheppard Pringle; daughter, Cynthia Pringle; grandson, Jordan Pringle; sister, Yonnie; brother, Wayne; aunts, Bertha Medley and Viola Cheatham, Viola's husband, Fred Cheatham; and friend, Nora.

She is survived by three daughters, Edna Pringle of Springfield, VA; Wanda and Sandra Pringle of Charlotte, NC; two sons, Charles Pringle of Snellville, GA, and Rodney Pringle of Montgomery Village, MD; additional honorary son, Irvin Lewis Jr. of Nathalie, VA; grandchildren, Hughie (Tim) Dodson Jr. of Brookhaven, GA, Courtney Pringle of Snellville, GA, Samantha Pringle of Danville, VA, Shantell Pringle of Montgomery Village, MD; devoted sisters, Sara, Iva, Constance, Barbara, Komonia, Gwendolyn, and Irene; devoted brothers, Milton, and Ashby;  and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.  Special thanks to those devoted friends, Mabel and John Brown, whom she loved dearly and who cared for her.
