Mr. Wade Jerome Brown, Sr. age 68 of Nathalie, passed away on September 25, 2022 at his residence. He was the son of the late John Marshall Brown, Sr. and Alice Elizabeth Palmer Brown.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold Stacy Brown, Richard Andrew Brown, and Lewis Stanley Brown; nephew, Ditrius O. Medley; and niece, Ashley Broadnax.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy A. Plunkett Brown of the home; three sons, Wade J. Brown, Jr., (Kizzy) and Jason E. Brown, both of Nathalie, and Steven J Brown of Lynchburg; four grandchildren, Jasmyne L. Brown and Qyaira N. Brown, both of Radford, Jayla Foster Brown of Halifax and DeVaughan J. Brown of Nathalie; two brothers, Willie E. Brown of Altavista and Rev. J. Marshall Brown, Jr. (Mabel) of Nathalie; two sisters, Carol B. Lewis and Gloria J. Brown, both of Nathalie; three nephews, Travis Stone, Troy Stone, and Brandon McGowan; niece, Kimberly L. Medley and niece and friend, Margie Lewis; two sisters-in-law, devoted, Rosa Stone and Irene C. Brown; and a host of other relatives and friends.
