Walter Lee Garris, Jr., age 72 of Richmond, passed away on April 18, 2024 at his residence. He was the son of the late Walter Lee Garris, Sr. and Roxanna Ezekiel Garris.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Margaret, Tony and Lincoln.

He is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Sheron Pugh Garris; three sons, Walter, III, Christopher and Dominic Garris; one daughter, Kitara "Miss Boo" Skeete (Cubby); six grandchildren, Christopher, Jr., Teona, Trevon, Alexis Garris and Keoni and Caleb Skeete; two great grandchildren, Jay'Ceion Scott and Azora Garris; sister, Roxanna Harrison (Leon); mother-in-law, Rose White; brothers-in-law, Ricky, Julius, Jr. (Michelle), Barry (Gracye) and Clifton Pugh; sister-in-law, Rhonda Ingram (Michael); bonus brother, Frank Wynn (Janet); additional family, Lorrine Penn, Charles Martin, George Garris, Pamela and Kasey Wallace, Ralph (Christine), Roger (Nancy), Joseph Tucker, Jr.,  Tracee Garris-McKenzie (Patrick); and devoted niece, Alicia "BooBoo" Pugh; and a host of other relatives and friends.
