Mrs. Wanda Sue Miller Montgomery, age 70 of Gladys, entered into eternal rest on August 19, 2021 in Lynchburg.  She was born on May 4, 1951 to the late Mr. Clifford Henry Miller and Mrs. Loula Elma Garrett Miller.  She was married to Mr. Buddy Lee Montgomery, Jr.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Jamie Lee Montgomery, her brothers-in-law, L. B. Mann and Rufus Dickerson; and a special niece, Vicky Lynn Marsh.

Survivors include her husband Mr. Buddy Lee Montgomery, Jr. of the home; children, Stephanie Fannon (Greg) of Nathalie, Buddy Brian Montgomery (Susie), Billy Joe Montgomery (Candace), Dustin Allen Montgomery (Stacey), all of Brookneal, and Nikita Lea Smith (Smitti) of Gladys; thirteen grandchildren; Laura Abdelslam (Max) of Brookneal, Leland Fannon of Rustburg, Taylor Keyes (Ivan) of Gladys, Christian Ward of Roanoke, Dylan Brown and Colby Smith of Brookneal, Cody Roberts of Gladys, Bradyn Montgomery, Sage Montgomery, and Saylor Montgomery, all of Brookneal, Jaydon Smith and JoHanna Grace Smith of Gladys, and Ivan Montgomery of Brookneal; great grandchildren, Maddy, Lil Matt, Autumn, Luna, Avery, and Kinley; sisters, Faye Marcil, Bonnie Marcil, Ellen Salas, and Dale Rice of San Jose, CA, and Darnell LeBlanc of Gladys; brothers, C. W. Miller and Clifford Jr. Miller of San Jose, CA; four sisters-in-law, Hattie Layne (Paul), Geneva Mann, and Naomi Haley (Dewey), all of Lynchburg, and Alsie Dickerson of Brookneal; and a host of other relatives and friends.
