Mr. Warren Elwood Poindexter, age 72, of Ft. Washington, MD died on December 12, 2019 in Clinton, MD.

He was the husband of Mrs. Gladys Hudson Poindexter and the son of the late Mr. Warren G. Poindexter and Mrs. Lucy Logan Poindexter.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys I. Poindexter; four sons, Steven A. Poindexter, Garry D. Poindexter, Jermaine D. Poindexter, and Wesley D. Poindexter; one daughter, Andrea T. Poindexter; grandchildren, Jalen M. Z. Poindexter, Cameron E. Poindexter, Kennedy F. Poindexter, Jerome T. Poindexter, Steven A, Poindexter, Jayme M. A. Poindexter, Kayla I. Ashford, Kendra T. Ashford, Gabriella D. Poindexter, Dwayne R. Poindexter, Kali A. Poindexter, and Kimani A. R. Poindexter; three sisters, Gloria A. Poindexter, Winifred P. Taylor and Alease McClanahan; one brother, Raleigh A. Poindexter; his mother-in-law, Mrs. Hattie M. Hudson;  sisters-in-law, Shirley M. Hays (Jerry), Lilion A. Thomas (Frederick), and Alice I. Smith; brother-in-law, Calvin C. Hudson (April); aunt, Earlie Hendricks; nieces and nephews, Brandy L. Hays Morrison (Charles), Jannize S. Smith, Shelby M. Thomas (Carrie), Christopher F.
