Mr. William Howard Carr, age 65 of Altavista, passed away on October 15, 2020 at his residence. He was the son of the late Mr. Herbert Hoover Carr and Mrs. Millie T. Carr.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by three daughters, Lashaun Martin, Lashanna Reed (Edward) and Titania Palmer; step-daughter, Darlene Robertson (Rodney); three sons, Travis Carr, Tony Carr (Stephanie) and Howard Carr; step-son, Tobias Harvey (Keanetha); grandchildren, Trayvion Carr, Taqouri Carr, Jaden Martin, Treymar Reed, Sayanna Miller, Nykhyla Miller, Ashley Daniel, Nikka Daniel and Jamir Daniel; sisters, Belvie Lane of Nathalie, Virginia Crawley (John) of Clover, and Glenwood Payne (Richard) of  Altavista; one brother, Robert Carr of Altavista; a devoted girlfriend, Darlene Walton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
