Mr. William Jerome Gilliam, III, age 63 of Brookneal, passed away on October 18, 2022 in Brookneal. He was the son of Mrs. Lula Lovelace Gilliam and the late Mr. William Edward Gilliam. Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Elizabeth P. Gilliam of the home; two daughters, Dianna St. John of Brookneal, and Delilah Gilliam of Greensboro, NC; two sons, Damien Gilliam of Brookneal, and Jason Berkley of Lynchburg; four devoted grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Lula L. Gilliam of Gladys; six sisters, Maude Payne of Brookneal, Peggy Burns, Bonnie Ghabayen and Belinda Monroe, all of Brookneal, Janie Ross of Galloway, NJ, and Hazel Pannell of New York; two brothers, Jesse Lovelace (Delma) of Woodbridge, VA and Tracey Gilliam of Gladys; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
