Mr. William Alonzo Jones, age 70 of Nathalie, died on December 4, 2019 in Brookneal. He was the son of the late Mr. Alonzo Jones and Eliza Clark Jones.

He is survived by two children, Jerry Lee Womack and Eliza Boyd, both of Nathalie; seven grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; four sisters, Annie Mae Barksdale (Elder Calvin) of Danville, Margaret Pounds (Elder Jasper) of South Boston, Catherine Dunkley of Nathalie, and Emma Henry (Shirley) of Washington, DC; three brothers, Robert Jones Jessie Jones, both of Halifax, and Douglas Jones of North Carolina; a brother-in-law, John Kirby; and a host of other relatives and friends.
