Mr. William Ole Queen, age 63 of Concord, passed away on January 24, 2025 at his residence.  He was born on October 15, 1961 to the late Mr. Ole Ingbert Queen and Mrs. Theresa Horning Queen.   Although born in New Jersey, he resided in Virginia for 27 years. He was married to the late Mrs. Nancy Ann Walker Queen.

William was a brick layer, who spent much of his leisure time enjoying auctions and flea markets.  He was an avid fisherman and gardener.

Family experiences brought William much joy.  As a loving son, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle, his infectious smile and iconic laugh endeared him to everyone he encountered.  While managing to remember even the smallest of details about family, friends, and numerous topics, William's stories kept everyone anxious for more.

His memory will be forever cherished by his daughters, Holly Mitchell (Roger) of Gladys and Kay-Dee Cruz (Christopher) of Brookneal; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; his siblings, Annie Oughton (Steve) of Howell, NJ, June Quinn of Jackson, NJ, Lisa Kurtz (Mel) of Concord, Donna Queen (Dan) of Jackson, NJ, Bob Queen (Marilyn)  of Madison Heights, and Sue Critzer (Stephen) of Gladys; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
