Mr. William Gordon St. John, age 66 of Gladys, passed away on May 4, 2023 at his residence. He was the son of the late James Otis St. John and Joyce Clement Bullock St. John.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny St. John; sister, Phyllis Jackson; three nephews, Jonathan, Troy and Justin; and a honorary friend, Earl Moon (Stomp).

He is survived by his wife, Janice St. John of Roanoke, Virginia; daughter, Marcella Clark (Jerry) of Gladys, Virginia; four sons, Antwan Smith (Sabine) of West Virginia, Desmond Smith and Jared Bradley of Shewsville, Virginia and Andre Crockett of Blacksburg, Virginia; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; seven sisters, Joyce St. John of Richmond, Virginia, Linda St. John, Ruby Burford (Wayne), Mattie St. John,  and Barbara Adams (Bennie), all of Gladys, Virginia, Maxine Lewis (Anthony) of Brookneal and Eleanor Elliott (Thomas) of Concord; honorary brother, Charles Younger; honorary nephew, Mac Skates; special friends, Tom Rouff, Wallace Scott, Nelson Bradley, Ben Palmer, Will-B, and Anthony; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
