Mr. Willie Alfred Adams, age 69 of Appomattox, passed away on February 25, 2022 in Lynchburg. He was the son of the late Willie Hugh Adams and Agnes Ernestine Dunnavant Adams.

He leaves to cherish his memory three brothers, Thomas Harrison, Jr. of Alexandria, Va., Larry Adams (Renita) of Cahokia, Il, and Leon Adams of Lynchburg; four sisters, Delores Scott of Red House, Barbara Spain (Glanzy) of Chase City, Shirlie Majercak of Lynchburg, and Aileen Ferguson (Wilbert) of Evergreen; sisters-in-law, Betsy Dennis of Manassas, Va., and Betty Adams of Lynchburg; a longtime friend and companion, Irwin Holley; special caregiver and nephew, Joe Dennis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Beautiful Zion Baptist Church.
