Wonda Ruth Sage, age 77 of Brookneal, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 10, 2022. She was the loving wife of Kermit "Herschel" Sage for 55 years.

Born in Lee County, Virginia, December 15, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Roe and Rosa Fannon. Wonda was a member of Liberty Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She was a homemaker and an avid gardener.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Osborne; and brother, Perry J. Fannon.

Wonda is survived by her husband, Kermit; three children, Connie Walton (Roger), Roy Sage (Tracey) and Kenneth Sage (Ann); three grandchildren, Faith Walton, Dakota Sage, and Joshua Greene; a brother, Lester Fannon (Joyce); sister, Latrena Smith (David); sisters-in-law, Linda Bledsoe (Lawrence), Louise Carmony (Greg), Kay Linginfelter, Debra Hale and Doris Fannon; and a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital for all the kindness shown during Wonda's hospitalization.
