Ms. Yvonne Watson, 68, of Scottsburg, Virginia entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 28, 2026.  Ms. Watson was born in Charlotte County, Virginia on May 26, 1957, to the late Inez Boyd Watson and Alexander Watson, Sr.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Wylliesburg, Virginia where she was a faithful member until her health began to fail.  She attended school in Charlotte County Schools. Ms. Watson enjoyed going to church, fishing, playing bingo, and fellowshipping with family and friends.

Yvonne leaves to cherish loving memories, her children: LaTasha Watson of Scottsburg, VA, Dominique Watson of Richmond, VA, and Donavan Watson of Scottsburg, VA ; her grandchild, K'von Scott; three siblings, Carolyn Boyd of Halifax, Virginia, Alexander Watson, Jr. (Vanessa) of Oxford, North Carolina, Tawanda Marable (Dwayne) of Scottsburg, Virginia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Yvonne also leaves behind a devoted friend, Pete Carden, and special friend whom she loved as a sister, Mrs. Barbara Speede.
