Mr. Wesley Stancill Canada, age 61 of Brookneal, passed away on February 4, 2015 in Brookneal. He was the son of Mrs. Anna Jones Canada and the late Mr. Samuel Canada. He was married to the late Gail Mandell Canada and to this union two children were born, Sameka and LaTasha. He is survived by his wife, A. LaVerne Canada of the home; his children, Sameka Canada and LaTasha Bates (Donnie), all of Richmond, Reafus Armistead, III and Sherica Pannell, both of Lynchburg; his God-daughter, Latia Durant of Richmond; seven grandchildren, LeMia Armistead, Kadiyyah Quarles, Zykia Fleshman, Oneishia Fleshman, Danajah Bates, Tyshawn Winston, and Jaylen Armistead; his mother, Mrs. Anna Canada of Concord; three brothers, Alfred Canada (Rosiline) of Richmond, Gregory Canada of Texas, and Samson Canada (Shirley) of Brookneal; two brothers-in-law, Joseph Walthall (Kristen) of Murrieta, California and Collins Rouff (Arlesa) of Brookneal; two godsisters, Karen Braxton, and Wanda Randolph (O.B.), all of Brookneal; four aunts, Louise Burks, Nancy Wood, Clara Johnson, and Estelle Virginia Jones (Lloyd); one uncle, James Jackson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
