Mrs. Lucy Willie Younger Carr, age 88 of Nathalie, passed away on December 13, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Robert Lee Younger and Mrs. Hallie Jackson Younger and was married to the late Mr. Henry Moses Carr. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Dollie Mae Rice, Evelyn Adams, Minnie Y. Jackson, Aronto M. Younger, and Thomas L. Younger. She is survived by her children: Bessie Mae Bland (Eddie) of Lawrenceville, VA, William R. Carr of Atlanta, GA, Joseph T. Carr, Sr. (Sadie), Harold L. Carr (Deloys), and Aronto Moses Carr (Pat), all of Nathalie, VA, Willie Jessie Carr of Queens, NY, Evelyn Carr Waller of Altavista, VA, Molly Pena (John) of Washington, DC; Lynn Carr-Hawkes (Michael) of Fredericksburg, VA, Charles S. Carr (Linda) of Richmond, VA, and Myra Carr of Rustburg, VA; 24 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Rosa S. Younger and Dr. Bessie Carr; four brothers-in-law, Alec Jackson, John P. Carr, Robert L. Carr (Bettie), and William A. Carr (Louise); and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
