Lucy Mae Carr, affectionately known as "Pee Wee" to her family and friends, departed this life on Thursday, December 9, 2010, at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital in Alexandria, Virginia. She was born March 21, 1954 and was the eighth of ten children born to the late Beverly T. and Thelma (Jennings) Carr. Lucy Mae is survived by her children: Jacqueline Carr Williams and Thomas Deon Carr of Alexandria, Va.; three brothers, James Carr, Sr. of Alexandria, Va., Charles Carr of Dale City, Va., and Hubert (Mary) Carr of Fredericksburg, Va.; three sisters, Rosa Tisdale and LaVerne (Albert)Taylor of Nathalie, Va. and Margaret Boyd of Alexandria, Va.; three uncles, Willie Jennings and Junior Jennings of Nathalie, Va., and Louis Jennings of Woodbridge, Va., three aunts; Angeline Boyd and Lorine Jones of Nathalie, Va., and Patty Carrington of Alexandria, Va.; and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers, George and Douglas Carr and one sister, Willistein Carr.
