Mrs. Robin Harris, age 35, formerly of Nathalie departed this life on Friday, July 23, 2010 in North Carolina. Robin was born on July 18, 1975 to Rosa Tisdale and Rogers Rice. She was educated in Halifax County Public Schools and was a member of the New Shiloh Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Benjamin Harris; one son, Tyreek Harris of Jacksonville, NC; her parents, Rogers and Rosa of Nathalie; three brothers, Donald Wayne Tisdale, Jr. (Chayrra) of Tallahassee, FL, 1st Sgt. Robert Lee Rice (Lisette) of Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, and Rodney Barley of Brookneal; aunts, Lucy Carr and Margaret Boyd of both Alexandria, LaVerne Taylor (Albert), Jerolean LaPrade, Brenda Rice, and Drusilla Rice all of Nathalie, Geraldine Tisdale of South Boston, Dorothy Hamlette (Franklin) of Brookneal, and Sandra Rice of Lynchburg; uncles, James Carr, Sr. of Alexandria, Charles Carr of Dale City, Hubert Carr (Mary) of Fredericksburg, and James Carter (Armetta) of Brookneal; four brothers-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 30, 2010 at the New Shiloh Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 until 8:00 p.m. at the chapel of Jeffress Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Brookneal.
